In this regard, the musical extravaganza of ' Mayhem of the Music Meister!' was its shining moment, combining catchy tunes, stellar voiceover work and an outrageously silly story into one of the most entertaining half-hours of television I remember watching all year. The debut season worked best when it pushed against audiences' expectations of Batman, placing him as far away from his comfort zone as possible. It's the type of cartoon kids can devour along with a bowl of cereal and, more impressively, their parents can giggle along to as well. If you haven't seen the show, think Adam West by way of Bugs Bunny and you'll get the gist of it. The show pulls Batman out of the sullen, violent world of the comics, Christopher Nolan's films and even the acclaimed 1990s animated series and throws him into whacky predicaments typically home to characters like Duck Dodgers or The Powerpuff Girls. It also feels very repetitive just punching and running throughout the game.With its first season, Batman: The Brave and the Bold definitively proved there is ample room for a silly, humorous take on the character in the popular zeitgeist. There are only four levels to play which took me about an hour (give or take) to complete each level. The Bad - The game does not take long to complete. You can even play in co-op mode with your friends online! Playing this game makes you feel like you are one with the television show. Next you go right into the real level action teaming up with the likes of Robin, Hawkman, Guy Gardner (another reason to buy the game), and Blue Beetle (sadly not Ted Kord, but Jamie Reyes). You have the normal short teaser-ish level where Batman and sidekick team-up to take down an enemy and then you get a nice cut-scene that looks like it was taken straight from the show. The levels are setup just like episodes from the show. All of the voice actors from the show are a part of the game so there is a seamless transition between the two.

The Cool - You get to see Booster Gold in a video game!!! That right there ought to make you drop $40.00 on it now! Seriously though, the cut scenes in the game look like they came straight from the television show. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun, but its repetitive gameplay makes this one more fun for the kiddies. So you love watching Batman: The Brave and the Bold and you really want a video game to play that has the spirit of the show?
